A Pricing Guide to Architectural Photography

Contact me for a copy of my 2010 Pricing Guidelines for Basic, Advanced, & Premium Projects.

It’s about Perspective.

Understanding your project begins with thinking like you and capturing that perspective into the final product.

With a Masters Degree in Architecture and over 5 Years of design experience I bring a unique perspective to each project I document.

3 Great Benefits to working with Ryan Siemers Photography & Design:

1) Your first project is 1/2 off.

Give me a try and you won’t regret it! The value of my services will astound you. To prove it I will cut my fee in 1/2 for your first project!

2) Frequent Photo Rewards

Every 5th project you book with me is 25% off. If you have 5 or more projects in the same calendar year, get the 5th project for 50% off. The discounted percent of the average of the first 4 assignments is applied to the 5th project (Up to the full amount of the 5th project).

I don't mean this to be confusing, so here's are a couple of Examples.

Example 1: If all 4 previous projects were all $2000, then $500 (25%) or $1000 (50%) would be applied to the 5th project depending on the time period the 5th project was completed by).

Example 2: If all 2 previous projects were all $2000 and the others were $4000 (for a total of $12,000), then $3,000 (25%) or $6000 (50%) would be applied to the 5th project depending on the time period the 5th project was completed by).

In Either example, if the 5th project was less than the applied discount, the balance does not carry forward to the 6th project. (Call me if this is confusing)

When other promotions are running, firms previously working with RSPD may not apply new promotions to existing deals. In the iPad Referral Program, a firm may participate in this promotion but it will move subsequent rewards down the line. (For example if on the 3rd assignment, "Myers Ingrim & Harison" booked a Premium Level Project, they would receive an iPad and on their 6th booking they would receive 25% off.)

3) Image License INCLUDED

I offer several licensing options, beginning with each project including a “Single End-User License” (SEUL) with an unlimited duration. This license is for non- exclusive use for company website, design awards, proposals, project sheets, in-house displays, portfolios, Powerpoint, and media relations releases. Third Party use is not included. (Copyright by Ryan Siemers is retained. Additional information available upon request).

Getting an Accurate Quote is about serving YOU!!

I highly recommend reading the publication "Working with an Architectural Photographer" produced by the American Society of Media Photographers. This document is what I base most of my questions from on my"Advanced Architectural Photography Quote".

But let's face it, sometimes you just want a ballpark figure to get the ball rolling. Test the waters so to speak.

Thats Why I developed "The 6 Basic Questions" quote request.

This is what I want to know before I give you a ballpark.

The Basic 6 Questions

1) Where is the project is located?

Determines market and travel.

2) What are the goals?

Set the focus of the project and clarify the use of the final product.

3) How many locations?

Interior, Exterior, on/off site.

4) When do you want to shoot?

Today, next week / month / season

5) Who will run site coordination?

Myself, a PA, a PM or a client rep.

6) Are there any special criteria?

When there are special considerations or direction for construction progress documentation or stylistic expression this will affect duration & care on-site.
